Quilting Book Wish List

Happiness...
The local fabric store had this one copy of Quiltagami, and it was on sale.

Used books from GoHastings store; they are like new!

I saw Kitty Pippen on Simply Quilts and fell in love with her story and quilting style, so I'm very happy to have one of her books.
Janet Haigh's book was too pretty to leave on the shelf, it too had inspirational photos and great templates.

  1. Fabric oragami is something I wanted to try as well. I think I need to learn to master one thing at a time. The books look like a lot of fun.

  2. Kathy,
I am so excited to have these for this Winter to experiment with!
Pam @ Berry Pond Quilts is working on her Cranes (which are gorgeous), a folded fabric quilt and when I opened the Quiltagami book to see a Cranes pattern, I almost fell over!!
I don't know if I'll try that pattern for awhile, but it's fun to look at!
....and, you'd be good at this, you have an artistic eye!

  3. Jes, That Quiltagami book has been on my shelves for a few years and I just love looking at it. Maybe you, Kathy & I can make a challenge beween the three of us and get moving on creating something fun. I took a class a couple years ago in fabric manipulation and it was so much fun.

  4. Nicki- Yes, oh Yes! Let's do that!

    We'll have to invite
Pam/Quiltcat Blue/Berry Pond Quilts to the party - that was where I first saw the Cranes!!

I'll start dedicating some fabric to a project pile!

    Quiltagami...Page 80 and Page 120 and Page 27 and Page 77...!!!!
