This is my first time making a strings quilt. Easy! Easy! Easy!
You would think by making up so many blocks with fabric scraps, that I'd be out of fabric scraps... well, almost. As I looked at what I had leftover, it seemed a shame to not use them; after-all, it's all the same fabrics.
The leftovers are small pieces, so I decided to make mock log cabin blocks. Then it was back to the store, to find a print that would blend all the blocks in...
Fortunately, I found something that had a very traditional-feeling and when finished, it looked like a Storybook quilt.
I love that the quilt doubled in size, and now I have a quilt to "share" when company stays over.
